in the Capacity as a Informator of his Children. This
Opportunity I took Joyfully & was there very near

inquiring: If I would go w.<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> him to see <placename>Herrnhuth</placename>?
I was directly willing & after getting Leave of my
Patron, we both <sic>sett</sic>  <corr>set</corr> <add>out</add> for <placename>Hhuth</placename>: The Watch-Word to
Day was: Loose them & bring them unto me. We
arrived there on Good <sic>Fryday</sic>  <corr>Friday</corr>. As I came the first time
into the Hall & they begun to sing: Gnade strömt aus
Jesu Wunden, dass man Abba sagen Kan, my Heart
at once was as in Heaven & directly I <sic>feeld</sic>  <corr>felt</corr>: that's
the Place for thine Home; <unclear>hier</unclear> they Swallow has
found her Rest! And this remaineth in my Heart,
by all following Intricateness whatsoever. I went home
again & <sic>staid</sic>  <corr>stayed</corr> there the Time of my <sic>Promisse</sic>  <corr>Promise</corr> & as

Two Months after I was receiv<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> into the Congregation
& in two Months following was admitted to our Lords
Supper. The very same Year I was sent from <placename>Hhuth</placename>
to bron conduct the Children of <persname>S.</persname><hi rend="superscript"><persname>r</persname></hi><persname> de Fshirsky</persname>
to <placename>Silesie</placename> & to stay w.<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> them as their Informator.

A.<hi rend="superscript">o</hi> <date>1741</date> As the War <sic>brock</sic>  <corr>broke</corr> out in <placename>Silesia</placename>, we return'd
in the Month of <date>March</date> to <placename>Hhuth</placename> again, & here lived
into the Choir-House.
A.<hi rend="superscript">o</hi> <date>1743</date> I <sic>marryed</sic>  <corr>married</corr> to <persname>S.</persname><hi rend="superscript"><persname>r</persname></hi><persname> Johanna Christina de Hermsdorf</persname>
& the same Year we were published as Labourers among
the Children. A.<hi rend="superscript">o</hi> <date>44</date> We got a Call to the Pilgrims-
Congregation in Marienborn. A.<hi rend="superscript">o</hi> <date>45</date> We made a Visit in
<placename>Thüringie</placename> as Gotha Langensalze, Jena, & then went in
Months of <date>June</date> to the Synad at <placename>Hhaag</placename>. A.<hi rend="superscript">o</hi> <date>46</date> We followed
our Call to Holland, especialy  especially to Amsterdam & Harlem,
as Labourer among the Children thereabouts.
A.<hi rend="superscript">o</hi> <date>47</date> Our blessed Disciple sent us to <placename>Henersdorf</placename>
where we had the Inspection over the Friedburg 9 Years
& visited to the same time the Awakened Souls
round about. A.<hi rend="superscript">o</hi> <date>1756 the 25</date><hi rend="superscript"><date>th</date></hi><date> of Augs</date>. we returnd
to our dear <placename>Herrnhuth</placename> again. A.<hi rend="superscript">o</hi> <date>1760 in November</date>
it pleased our dear Saviour to take my dear Wife
home to himself & by that means to promote
me into the Widowers Choir. So far his own Account,
His Sabbath in his Choir-House he passed away
in a still & happy Confidence to our Saviour.
he loved every Body, he was a tender, subtle
<sic>Beeing</sic>  <corr>Being</corr>, familiar & courteous to every Body
& from all his Heart <sic>thankfull</sic>  <corr>thankful</corr> for every Love &
kindness towards him. He was mostly deaf, but
our Saviour very richly recompenced this lost
Sense in the very intime Conversation w.<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> his
Soul; & so comforted the holy Ghost <sic>dayly</sic>  <corr>daily</corr> his
