passive heart, And tho' I cannot
shout for gladness, But
keenly feel afflictions dart
yet I would not be sunk
in sadness. -

Our late Sister was in the
habit of keeping a kind of
journal for many years.
and some extracts from
it will tend to shew  show the
intimate communion in
which she lived with her
Saviour - On the 16th. of
January
she wrote as follows
