alluded to the probability that she should soon
be permitted to go home; and said: "there is no cloud
intercepting my veiws  views of the celestial inheritance."

humiliating strains of herself, and of her unwor-
thiness of the great favour she enjoyed. Happy
in the feeling of a Saviour's love, she awaited
the summons that would call her away.
Yet resigned to her Lord's will.
It pleased the Lord to exercise her faith
and patience longer than she expected. Her
pains was extreme; the disease, tumour
in the stomach, occasioned much that
was distressing to herself and her attendants.
On the 4th, ten days before her departure
when visited by the labourer, she was found
in a very composed state of mind, and said
"I have no fear of death. Christ is all suffi-
cient.    As a poor sinner I place my trust
in him.     His blood has clensed  cleansed me from all
my sin.He will be my guide even unto death."
On the 9th also she was able to manifest
the same degree of confidence in the Lord,
rejoicing in hope of the glory of God. "The
bitter sufferings of the Lamb of God" she
said "afforded her rich consolation    and
strength under her present severe trials.
