The minister of the Bath Congn. adds his

testimony to the above in the following

words:"The delicate state of health of

our late Sr. prevented that activity to

which her ardent spirit prompted her.

The welfare of the congregation both

temporal and spiritual lay near her

heart; and she delighted to promote

every effort made for the properity

of the work of the Lord, whether at

home or in foreign lands. During the

present year, she has been divising

means for the assistance of one of the

most important institutions of our

Church in this province, e. i. the

liquidation of the debt on the labourers

children's fund. In one of the last

conversations I had with her previous

to her last illness, she mentioned those

plans - Though her bodily strength

was reduced, her mind retained all

its vigour to the close of life.

During the period of her abode

in this city, she has been brought more

Register.
