I will cleave to Him, and pray for his grace,
that I may obtain the crown he has set
before me, and cause him to be "joyful
over me."
I am desirous of devoting myself
"body soul and spirit" to my dear Redeemer.
But a small portion of my life remains,
but what is time compared with the
author of time? I can never do enough
for him, who has done so much for me.
I may truly say, he had died for me,
for few have so sinned and with
so little excuse. I am longing to see
his face and dwell where sin [?] enters
not.I am longing to pour forth
my gratitude at his pierced feet,
and sing hallelujahs in his blessed
presence.
Dear Lord perfect the work thou
hast begun and as thou art the
author be the finisher of my faith. Come
Lord Jesus!    Come quickly. Amen.
