a faithful zeal for the interests of the whole
community, that though I was the sufferer,
I honoured the spirit that guided him.
Great kindness was shown me by the Brethren
and Sisters wherever I had resided; and at
Bristol I was permitted to many privileges
which proved great blessings to me. For
these proofs of affectionate regard, I feel
grateful. I cannot express the union
of spirit I have felt at some of the
meetings, especially at the confirmations,
where I have been particularly drawn out
to pray for the candidates and the whole
community. The near presence of our
Saviour and the union of spirit with the
Congn. were so delightful, that I could
hardly conceal my emotion. From the
continual obstacles that arose to impede
my wishes, I began to be hopeless of
success, and beleiving  believing I could never
satisfy the mind of my earthly judge by
my own efforts, I determined to leave
it all to our Saviour who could; and I
resolved to rest under the privilege I had,
till better days. Several times I was
told to try another congregation, and

Register.
