Congregation Accounts 1708
Containing the Following Personals
1st Br Henry Wallis who whent home to our Saviour in 
London the 28th of August 1768
He was born at Hackenburg not far from Neuweid the 25th of Decem
ber 1722. In his Youth he became concerned for his salvation and
came to Herrnhaag in the year 1740, and soon attaind to reception
in the Congn and the participation of the Holy Sacrament. Some
time after he was sent to Herrnhuth, where he became servant of the
Single Brns Choir and was beloved by them. In the year 1744 he returnd
to Herrnhaag, where he was joind in Marriage to the present Widdow, 
and after a stay of 3 months, went back to Herrnhuth, where he
stad above a year and enjoy'd many blessings; he then was
sent to Herrnhaag, from thene to London, and soon after to Livo-
nia, inwhich place he and his wife continued in our Lords
Service 6 years and was then recalled to Herrnhaag from whence
after a short stay of 6 weeks they went in obedience to their call
by the way of London to Dublim. Where they serv'd the Cong 2
years and an ahlf, then return'd to London and stay'd there near 
5 years, and from hence was recall'd to Herrnhuth, where he
came unto a melancholy situation. As his abode in Herrnhuth was
no blessing to him in such circumstances and upon many
accounts not adviseable for him to stay there, in the year 1762
He concluded to move to London. After he has been there some
time, he became much distress'd in his Mind concerning his situa-
tion and the step he had taken; wept and lamented his condition
and hearthly long'd to be again Partaker of the Congn grace which he
attain'd to his great consolation. His married state was bless'd with
6 children of which 2 daughters and 1 son went home to our Saviour
at Herrnhuth and Zeyst. His path in the Congn was indeed
