being laid on all the shipping we were obliged to go on shore
again, and had much derision to encounter with, on that
account: We then took our journey by Land, and after great
difficulties, arrived at Herrnhuth the 10 of November with the
Watch word: what no man Indure, avoiding as Impire, they
to the Lamb can go,and will be taken too. The dear Sisters
Benigna, Anna Johanna, and Lawatchin reciev'd us with great
Kindness. The same Evening we were at Sister Lawatchins
Birthday Love feast; an in the singing hour, which Br
Markin Dober kept; he sung: Thou who with Sinners Smit
-ten Ark in application to us, we could not refrain Tears
in this Meeting, and I in particular thank'd our Saviour for
my grace-election, That after so many Trials he had at
last brought me to a Place of Rest among his People.
The 4th of December I was bless'd to the Participation
of the Holy Sacrament, which was an unspeakable
grace to me. In the year 1744, the Disciple return'd from
Livonia when I had the pleasure to see him for the first
time, he discoursed with me 2 hours long, on mine and
my children's grace-election which made a Lasting Im-
pression on me and has been a consolation to me on
many occasions. In the year 1746 I was taken among
the number of the Hourly Intercessors which was a great
benifit to my Heart. In the year 1748 I removed to
my choir-house, where our Saviour has hitherto bless'd
me with his nearness. and bestow'd many blessings
on me. and now, the converse with the man of smart
remains the pleasure of my Heart. till soul and body separate.
Thus far her own relation
when

When she moved into the new Choir-Hause February 1761 she
rejoiced very much, chiefly in the hope that our Saviour would soon take
her Home. She went on her Happy Course in stillness, her heart cleav'd
to our Saviour and found Pasture in his Wounds. Whenever she medi-
tated on her grace-election, or conversed with her sister on that
Subject her eyes overflow'd in thankfulness to our Saviour, who had
delivered her out of so much Distress and many Dangers and brought her to
his People she often said: "I must praise the Lord who has reserv'd my
for these time." all the grace and blessings which our Saviour bestow'd
on her in the Cong and her choir, she received at all Times with
an humble sinnerlike Heart. Her daily converse with her Sisters
was childlike and loveing which procured her Respect. This last year
she grew sickly, chiefly since her Birth day the 7th of March, on which
day she herself said, it would doubtless be her last. She told her
Labouress, that notwithstanding all her Poverty and Weakness
she could go to our Saviour as his poor Blushing sinneress, with a
chearful confident Heart, who had nothing to plead but his blood
and Righteousness so long as her strength allow'd she enjoy'd
the Cong and choir meetings to her great Blessing. It was in
Particular a great Joy to her that she could celebrate the Festival
of the Maternal Tuition of the Holy Ghost, on Whitsunday with the
Cong. This was likewise the last time of her going aborad, for
in the beginning of June she had a swelling which notwithstanding
all the REmodies apply'd, so increas'd from day to day, that
she could not lie in Bed, but was oblig'd to pass her days and
night sitting in her chair. In all her pain she was an example
of Patience and Resignation, consoling herself with our Saviours
merritorious suffrings, and often said: "oh Lord Jesu! Thine Agony
and bitter passion comfort me!" the 2nd of September, she receiv'd
the Holy Sacrament with a great company of her Choir Sisters
with a Tender feeling of our Saviour's Nearness, after which
she

Register.
