Current Transcription
Was married at Bethlehem January the 10th to Molly Waters 1754 and set out with her
Brother and Sister Bruckers, Gölner April the 5th for St. Thomas, where we arrived
May the 20th. In August 1755, I went to St Jans and with Brother Weber
to Tortola. and in January the 7th 1756, I and my wife went to St Croix
and from there sail'd on 18th of March to Antigua and call'd at Spanisch
Town and the Anguilla came to Anese at Antigua the first of April and went
on shore the 2nd. Kept house Sept in a hir'd room the 28th I visited the Gen.
He was kind.

my wife was brought abed of a daughter Nov 25 1756 went home to our
Savior October 19th 1760 in the Negro house at Dumbars Estate
I and my little Betsy being almost sick unto death
at same time. Embark'd with my Betsy June
4th 1761 for Philadelphia. arrived safe in Bethlehem July
were married November 29 1760 to Maria Margartha Zerbst
landed in Antigua with her April 17th 1761
