Him. He was a Confessor of the Truth of the Gospel at several
Places & has put himself to the Risk, to avoid Difficulties
to the Brethren and other Awakened Souls. As in the Beginnings
several phantastical Opinions under the Awakened Sould
would take Place; then he offered Leave to the Brethren
to keep their Meetings at his House & built them at last a
convenient Meeting Hause. He himself visited the
Meetings & was glad with the Brthrn & Sisters of the Nation.
On his Birth-Day he allways gave 'em a Lovefeast
& translated many verses in their Language.
Ao 46 & 49 He became thoughtfull and retardeth by a 
careless behaviour towards him, but our Saviour
sett him to right again, which could easily the
two last years be observed. In the Month of 
Febr as he was on a Journey & sat on Table a Sudden
Apoplexie sized upon him which left a lameness on his 
right side & Tongue behind it. By this Occasion
happened as great Alteration in his Heart; & he
showed by Signs that he was very ontent &
happy & resigned his Will in our Saviours Hands
After three Days he begun again few broken 
Words to speak & the 7th May he came home
again. Here now he begun tenderly to pray

shorten his Pain & if his gracious Will to take him
home. The 20th of May upon his Desire our Lords
Supper was administered to him, whereby his Eyes
floweth with Tears. After that he made the Dispo-

a Picture, representing the Mary Magdalene by the
feet of her Saviour, hanging over against his bed, 
a Sister who was then present said: Mary Magdalene 
did love our Saviour very much. Yes, said he: I love
him too. Took off his Cap & begun tenderly to pray
His Neighbours and Brethren & Sisters who
was of his Subjects came very often to see him & he
desireth of them all; to pray to our Saviour that he
would hasten to take his poor Soul in his eternal 
Safety
