Current Transcription
Stone Hunersdorf, with whome she lived 54 Years in the
marryed State & had 13 Children, whereof are 4 still
living & two Sons of hers are in our Congregation.
She had the Pleasure to see 24 grandchildren & 13
grand grand children, of the first are 6 in our Congregation
1759 She became a Widow. As her Son, our Breth
Geo. Frederic Oertel came to visit her in Ober-Peile
and desired if she go along with him? She considered
very short and came with him (but in no Intention
to stay here). She frequented our Meetings very
busy & the holy Ghost operated with the Word of
Jesu Sufferings & Death so powerfull of her Heart,
that She soon saw: she never had found her Happiness
as a Siner. She desireth with Tears the Sisters would
take her under their Care. By the first Visit in
the Choir House she declareth herself following:
I have now grown to 74 years of Age & toock
myself for a very good Christian; I have prayed
read the Bibel & troubled myself very much,
to do what belong to the true Christendom;
However, now I see & feel that by them all, that
our Savour never knew one, and now I am
afraid I come to late! But they advised her
and esureth Her, that she was allways wellcome
by our dear Lord. By that means she toock
courage & ventured to go to our Saviour
