The single Br John Creed
He was here born the 29th of July 1734 and brought up in
the Church of England. His Mother was a religious Woman
& took care to keep him back from all bad Companys,
& our Saviour blessed her Endeavour & it became to
a real Blessing for his Heart. Ano 1755 Became
he acquanted wth the Brethren & his Heart was soon taken
by the Doctrine of the Death & Sufferings of our Redeemer.
He made a Covenant to be quite & alone the Property of his
Saviour

Saviour with Soul & Body, & he brought him soon in
a childlike Conversation with him. the 2d of March
1756 he was received into our Congregation & the 27th Jul
1757 to the enjoyment of the Flesh & Blood of our Lord,
he took himself unworthy about all the Blessings our
Saviour bestowed on him, but found a continual Desire
in his Heart towards it. He was a true & faithfull Soul
in his Choir & most beloved by every Brother. The 11th
of March an Apoplectic Fever sized on him & he took it
directly for the desireth Opportunity to promote him
in into the visible nearness of his beloved Friend.
His Labouress came very often to see him, & allways
to the Satisfaction & Pleasure of Both. In the greatest
Fever-Heat his tender Conexion with our Saviour
appeareth very clearly to every Body, & when he came
to himself again, he expressed himself most amusantly:
"I am one o Lord of thine poor Brethren, which thou by
many temtations & Dangers hast kept as a Child by thine
bloody Wounds! Thine Blood has strengthened my
my Heart, & this is at present still the only Comfort
whereafter my Heart languished" In this happy Si-
tuation he remaineth till the 25th when his happy
Soul in Peace & with the Blessings of his Choir departed
in the 29th Year of his Age.
