Current Transcription

Recovery; however they used all possible means to restore
her. She herself conforted her Husband & begged to be 
calm, when our Saviour would call her Home; was 
very thanckfull for all his Love & for all his Pains
bestowed on her; & this She did by all her Waiters, & by all
that She was in a continual Meditation of the Death
& Sufferings of her dear Redeemer.
The 19th She recommended Br Pyrleus before his Departure
to Fullneck to remember her heartely Salutation to the Brethren & Sisters
there. Afterwards lay quite silent in expectation of the 
last Kiss; & so flew away easy & happy under the Blessings
of her dear Husabnds in the 44 year of her Age.
The marryed Br. William Ellis, at Mirfield.
He was born here 1724 the 13th of Febr & brought up
in the Church of England. As he was but 3 years of Age
he remembered the Work of the Holy Ghost in his Heart, 
but came afterwards in wicked company & soon
lost it again. Ao 45, he marryed his present Widow 
who had 6 children by him, & is still impregnated
with his 7th Child. Her Oncles blessed & happy Department
of this Life was the Occasion, whereby the Both
became earestly concerned about their eternal Happiness.
They first went to the Methodists, but as soon they
heard the Brethren preaching the gospel & the Reconciliation
by the Blood of Christ their heart was so touched
that they directly resolved to follow the Doctrine
of the Brethren. Ao 1755, they were received among
the Society People & Ao 1759 upon their earnstly
desire into the congregation. the 18th of March 

He was confind by a Pleuresy to his Bed; a couple a Days
after, he sent for his Labourer & confessed that he was not
easy in his Heart, but knowed very well that he was 
himself in Fault and could't blame any Body else.
the 28th he sent for Br. Pyrleus, because he could't
comfort himself, before he spoke with him: he recapitulated 
his complaints again & begg'd heartely forgiveness about
all & especially where he was burdensome to his Labouress.
He was advised to the true and compassionate Friend of Sinners, 
where he certain & willingly would find forgiveness & Grace,
according to his Heart Desires; all thy Brethren are ready
& willing to forgive him from all their HEart.
Be a second visit they found him calm and quite in a
altered Situation. & related to them with a Joyfull Heart
that he had last night a Visit of our dear Saviour & it
is true that he is the greatest Friend of Sinners; he had
pardoned him & his heart was now easy & happy. & in
this disposition he went home the same day, wash'd
& cleansed of the very remembrances of Sins in the 39
year of his Age.

She was born the 10th of Febr 1711 & was brought up in the Church of Engl. As she was but 7 years old, her
Vater dyed, & so she remained to her 19 year of Age
with her Mother. She was a restless Being from her
Youth & must obey against the Inclination of her
Heart, as she was persuaded to become Housekeeper
