Current Transcription

Occasio whereby She became acquainted wth our Congregation
& since that Time she kept house to our People.
Ao 1745 the 20th of May was she received & the 2d of Nov
h.a. admitted to the holy Sacrament. As 1749 the 23 of Apr
the single Sister Oeconomie was here errected, then she
was one of the first who constituted her. In the Children
Oeconomie at Mile-End she served 4 years, wth all Diligence
Faithfulness, & then in her Choir-House back again.
Her attached Heart towards our Savr brought her happily
through in every Circumstances & nothing could obstruct
her in her simple faith. Her thoughtfullness, & sickly
Condition sometimes caused her many Perplexed Hours,
but as her Heart was not false, our Savr allways soon
brought her in the right Channel again. By Way of
her supple and sinnerlike behaviour she gained the Heart
of all her Brth and Sisters, & every Body loved her.
Since two Years past her sickness terminated in a Con-
sumption & at last was forced to yield to her Bed. She
declared directly: that her Sabbath was arrived & She
would spent her little Time with her bloody Bridegroom.
Another Time expressd herself: o what a poor sinner 
am I! but for all that I feel my Saviours nearness!
He loved me poor as I am! She enjoyeth the holy
Sacrament twice on her Sickbed, was extra ordinary
delighted & expected with a tender & heartely Desire:
that the true Friend of her Soul would give the last Hint
for her happy Entrance in his bloody Arms. This was granted 
to her the 16th in the Morning, under a happy Liturgie. In her 46 year of Age

at Mirfield departed this Life: the 21st of this. 
The marryed Sister Jane Shaply.
She was born anno 1719, the 13th. of June at Flockton in the
Parish of Thornhill & brought in the english Church. She 
was in her tender Age allready concerned about her eternal
Happiness, & therefore went very eagerly in Mr. Inghams
Preaching. anno. 1739. She was marryed to our present Widower
our Brother Daniel Shaply & was blessed by him with. 9.
Children, wherefrom 4  went before her to our Savior
& 5. live with. their Vater. Soon after They heard the Gospel
by the Brethren & were according to their Desire received.
into the Society & the 13th. of August 1751. into the Congregation.
The Year following the 26th. of June the[y] were admitted to
our dear Lords Supper. Ao. 1752. as the Chappel of 
the Brethren at Mirfield was built on her Vaters Land 
She was much rejoyceth, because as She was lame &
could't walk far. Her Heart was attached to her bloody
Friend & She him above all Things in this World.
As in Mirfield the Classes of the marryed Poeple were
errected, then She & her Husband were to take Care
thereof, whereby the insinuated herself into the Hearts
of all the Bthn.& Sisters, because of her tender & lovely
Conversation, & therefore was very usefull & beloved.
the 13th. of Febr. anni currentis  was She by a great frost suddenly
taken ill, & this determined in a inflamatory
Fever; by this means her old Pain in her Limbs
was irritated anew, that there was no Hope left of 
her Recovery
