The Widow Eva Elisabeth Funck.
She was 1702 at Newdorf far from Ebersdorf.
She was brought up by her Parents to Country Work,
& therefore She came very young to a Farmer in his
Service. From thence She came for a Wash Maid
in the Service of the Countesse of Ebersdorf & after-

her, that She wished herself to be so as this Sister. But
She stop'd by wishing & by a outward regular Life &, so
came not farther. In this Situation, She marryed her
Husband, both thought they had a Help Maid according to
their Desire, but soon their Hope begun to vanish. However
her Husband came her before, he saw & felld his miserable
condition begged Mercy & absolution by our Saviour &
obtained it; was receiv'd into the Congregation & admitted
to the Holy Sacrament. This made a Impression upon
her & weep'd very often in her Distress & about her staying
back. But for all that She came to no Satisfation in her
Heart. Once our dear Countess Theodore call'd her as she went
by in her effairs, & remembered her very motherly, if she
