the right Use of Medicin and the Diet to it.
If they had had an Opportunity to witness of
our Saviours bloody Atonement and his Love towards
poor Sinners, they rejoyced always in the Evening
over it. Br Fritsch in particular had such an
Inclinatino to the Russian Nation, just as when
he only was born for them. Besides that, he was
very useful in our Oeconomy, and every one could look
upon him as his right Hand. When indistressed Cir
cumstances nobody know'd how to help himself, he was
with his Advice not only directly ready but it found Approbation
by every one too. When something amongst us was to be
done away, he was commonly the Person, who did it,
after he had carried upon his Heart and brot it before
our Saviour, and they he did it in that manner, that
it humble us, tough our Heart, and we flowed as poor
Sinners together again. When he found his Heart
was indifferent he also excluded himself once from it.
In his Nature he has something morose & disagree
able which often appear'd in his Business, but
he was soon griev'd over it and begg'd directly for
forgiveness & one could see on him, know he wish'd
to have always a more childlike and with Love

so friendly and compassionate, on his Business so

So loving and childlike, that it came in all our
Mind: Our Br Fritsch grows to ripe.
In the mean Time when the Practise of our dear
Father decreas'd, the President of the College here
insisted upon me and Br Fritsch
to take upon us the Office of a Schoolaster
to which we at last gave our Consent. He
begun his School Labour with ninety odd Scholars,
whom he teach'd the Arithmetic, and prov'd on them
a fit, faithful, loving & moderate School Master. For
the poor Scholars of whom he had a great Number, he
brought always Paper to write in all Stillness for to
make no Upsight. He left a good Name. The Scho
lars praise him yet always, an are sorry, that he
did stay no longer with them. Because the 9th of
November, it seem'd that he had a hot Fever on him.
he was us'd not to mind a little Weakness much
therefore he tri'd to do the same for this Time
and went the next Monday to his Class again
and intended to do the same on Tuesday, but
our dear Father David hindered it. As his sickness
increas'd the same Day he was oblig'd to keep
his Bed. That same Night he convers'd with our
Savioiur and shed many Tears. On Wednesday
he declar'd himself in a Discourse with Br Kriegel
stein in the following manner: If I shall go

Register.
