the Russian Language & set down my true mind so as I
would have it, and at the same Time for only defend
it in the same Language. Herrenhutsch Sect and
Belief I never would allow, but put always in the
Protocal for that: with the Moravian Exiles united
Brethren of Evangelical Constitution & Augsburg
Confession. Herrnhutsch Unitas Fratrun or Union, I allowed
once for shortnes sake, but the Herrnhuths Reli
gion or Sect upon no Account, because it has in
the Russian Language an odious and double sense
The Conclusion was made with a friendly Promise of our
Judge: you will be in a short Time releas'd. In the follow
ing Time, Br Rochler procur'd a better Quarter and a
constant guard for the Brn Kriegelstein and Hellehoff. I was
well content with my Circumstances and could not
willingly leae my Br Stephan, who for all was
taken away from me at last. I could serve him a good
while after and do some good to him. At last he was
sent to O--b--g but our Saviour gave me soon ano
ther faithful heart in his Room, a Russian Clerk a
very pretty young Man of a good sense and tender Heart,
we got directly acqauinted with one another the first Day
and in short time very intimate. he is now in military
servie and continues his Love towards me by frequent visits
so oft as he comes to Petersborough. At the end of the year
I saw the first Time the Sister Helterhoffs, who already

in the Month of April was come here, she went by my Pri
son, Br Roehler after a great deal Trouble and Expence

Helterhoff and the 2d of March 1751 I got the Favour to get
a Lodging there too. Now was the Rlenblet together, &
we three made a Congregation, where the Lord was amongst
us There was liv'd now in our Remarkable and blessed
Catacombe, edifyed one another, was visited and we was our
Neighbours to a blessing also. And this last nine Months
because in the Month of October 1751 we mov'd with our Guarde
in the Sister Helterhoffs House, and the Sister Krigelstein
who was sent from the Congregatino mov'd likewise
to us. I liv'd with the Soldiers together, we was now a blessed
House Congregation & kept our Meetings & Lord Supper
but this our obtaind Freedom came May 3d 1752 at
once to an End out of a fault of a certain Prisoner
we, as well as the Rest, was oblig'd to return on
a sudden in our Catacombe. There was stay'd again
eight months and we was three Times i nthe
greatest Danger by Water and by making
a Ferry over the River Nova we got an Opportunity
to save the Lifes of great many, and to make them in
partakrs of our morsels of Bread. This our Danger,
where we met with besides our Imprisonment, mov'd
the Magestrates to give us a house out of the Fortress
in the suburbs for to enjoy that Freedom which we
had before, but we could not get there before the Month
of December in the year 1752. From this Time our
Secretary put a full Confidence in us, we
