preaching again the People at HHut, he got a
Desire to go there, & visit them, he thought they
must be People of God, as they were so despised
& spoken against, but when he was out of his
Time he got a Desire to travel & to see the
World. His Brn Gottlieb recommended him to a
young Gentleman who was a going to travel as
his Servt but as it happen'd, he miss'd of
this Place & his Br who in the mean Time
was awaken'd & had pray'd to our Savr that
he might return again was exceeding glad
to see him & sent him with a Letter to Br
Woodbar in HHut, in hopes that he might stay
there, or at least that his Visit might be a
Blessing to him, but he stay'd there only four
Days, as he could get no Work at his Trade,
went to Silesia, Moravia, & Bohemia in the
uneasiness of his Heart, return'd again to Saxony
came to his Br in Leipzig & heard Br Pyrlaus
preach, discourse from our dear Savr & his
Wounds. From thence he went to Berlin Mechlen-
burg, & Pomerania, everywhere he look'd for

pious people to find Rest for his Heart but
found none. In the mean Time his Brother
was gone to Hhut & had wrote to his mother
from thence, this Letter she shew'd to him
when he came home, out of which he saw how
a poor Sinner might come to our Saviour,
& resolv'd directly to go to Hhut, & accordingly
he came there the 7th of Jan 1740. where he
found his Br Heard Br Frederick Neusser
preach'd, it gave him a deep Impression
& was afterwards a help to him in his many
Confusion in once which he went away from HHut
when he work'd in Upper Minde he was sick
& thought he should die, but as he had no
Assurance in his Heart of his Happiness, he
begg'd very heartily of our dear Savr that he
would make him well again & then he would
go to the Congregation & be converted. So soon
as he was recover'd he went over Stralsund
Rostock, & Lubeck to Pilgerreh & as he did
not find the People there which he look'd for
he went to Amsterdam with an Intention
to take shipping fo the East or West Indies
