Tea, which when he had drunk he laid down
his head, * went out like the Snuff of a Candle
that we could hardly perceive when he went away,

The life of Christian Fritch
Our dear Brn John Christian Fritch was born in
July 1721 in Great Hall brot up in the Lutheran
Religion went to the German & Latin School in
Elster Werda & in the year 28 in Odern. He took
great Delight in the reading of the Sufferings of our Saviour
& not without a Feeling; when he read in
the Bible of the People of God he said to think
when I am grown up & I hear of such a People
I'll go to him it may be where it will. The 15th year
of his Age he come amongst bad Company &
lost that tender Feeling which he had. After
some years he was put a Appentice to a Linen

and by this Opportunity he came again to his
Heart & as he was in Church & heard the Minister

Register.
