his Indentures & other Papers were in his Fa
thers Hands he resolved to go his Parents
to fetch them. Br Nixdorff did all that he could
to persuade him first of all to visit the Con
gregation in Herrnhut and that he would cer
tainly not repent of it. He promis'd him he
would, and went accordingly to Herrnhut,
and was so well pleas'd with every Thing, 
taht he imediately wrote to Br Nixdorff
and his Master that he alter'd his mind, 
he neither intended to become Master in
Breslaw nor the Person which was propos'd
to him to marry. Shortly after he came to
Breslaw himself, but his outwards Affairs
in Order, and went in the year Thirty Nine
in May to Herrnhut to stay there. As to
his Reception in the Congregation and other
Things,  his own Words are as Follows:
"In the year 41 on the 7th of Jan, our dear
Savr call'd me to his belov'd Crosses Church
and I was receiv'd into their Care as a poor Sinner

my Dear Lamb took me under his peculiar Care,
& granted me the Favour on the 17th of March 44
to go the first Time to the holy Communion, which
was an unspeakable great grace to me, which
captivated humbled and melted my Heart. O
Lamb thou art all in all, the Grace is unspea
kably great, thy Faithfulness is unfathomable
to such poor unworthy Good for nothing Sin
ners. The Watchword was: They shall be my
people & I will be their God in Truth & Righte
ousness & the Collect was: thou fain wouldst
have me cleaner in Heart" so far his own Words
