preaching and had the care of the Souls as
also visiting in the Jerseys from the year 49
till 50 he had the same office in Lancaster &
rested a while after in Bethlehem & in the
year fifty one went again to Philadelphia
in Nov in the same year he with his wife
were disciplies for the Land congregations
& enjoyed the blessed Sabbath for his Heart.
In the year fifty three he went again to Beth
helem, from thence he went & consecreated the
New Church in Darsberry, & in the same year
made a Beginning to preach the Gospel
in Oblong which was a lasting Blessing &
is now a Congregation called Sichem. From the
year 53 till the 55 he was at several Pla
ces with Blessing some Times with his
Wife and sometimes without her. The last
Place was in New York but on Account of her
a Hurt upon his Breast which he got in
his younger years travelling was more diffi
cult to him it was thought proper to take
him
