The Particulars of the Burying of our Br Gold,
who went home to our Savr the 9 of April
In the afternoon before Dark the Congregation
not together in the Hall, and begun with this
vers: Thou bottomless Depth of Gods infinite Love oft
item we know the Shepherd's Heart, who left
the ninety-nine behind
And thro the Desert anxious went
his hundreth one to find.
Br Reiz spoke afterwards The Substance of his Discourse was this
no man can comprehend it, what Grace, Love and
Faithfulness our Dr Saviour follows his Souls
it goes beyond our Thoughts and Imaginations
The fallen and lost mankind cost him so dear a
Price, viz his own divine Blood, that he cannot
but burn in Love and eager Desire towards them to
save and bless them. Suck he was from the
Beginning of the World, and such he is still, as the Scri
pture is Full of it. Even before the Fall of our
first Parents, he hav thought open
a Remedy from Eternity, to restore again
the Salvation which they lost by disobediance & un
belief. The Heart and very Nature of the Lamb
of God is to seek Sinners to call them unto himself
to help them because he has ransomed them with so
great a Sum, and earned them through
hard Toil and Labour. Isaiah the 43, verse 24, 26
we find these remarkable words: thou hast made
me to serve with thy sins, thouh hast carried me with thine
iniquities. I even I am he that blotteth out thy trans
gression for mine own Sake, and will not remember thy
