After this Mr. Valentine, the above mentioned
Arian Minister, told me, I had changed for the
worse by joining the Brethren. I sent him the
nine discourses on Christ's Divinity, by Count
Zinzendorf; but they did not please him. Soon
after he fell sick; I felt great concern for
him and went often to converse with him.
whenever I mentioned anything about the
discourses I sent him, he was out of patience
and desired me to visit him no more; neverthe-
less, I told him, that I was concerned for him
and should call again to see him. However
stayed away for sometime, but hearing that
he grew very weak, I resolved to visit him a-
gain, as I felt very anxious about his happi-
