1848 Novr. 3rd I feel as if the question
in the text of the day, (Will ye
also go away) was put to me,
and I can answer - No, our
Saviour will uphold me, -
Novr. 4th. I am here still
and in the Lord's hands, I
heartily pray Him to make
me satisfied with my weakness,
and to give me a grateful heart
for all mercies.
1849 Jany 1st. I begin this year
with a deep feeling of my
being a great sinner my
heart is full, and I cannot
express in words my feelings,
the past has been rather
peculiar, at times painful,
