Ebersdorf.
the 8th. Apr. went home to our Saviour.
The single Sister Judith Miller.
She was born at Millhousen in Upper Elsasia the 6th Dec. 1719.
She had from her tender Years a inclination to become
pious & to lead a Moral Life. But as she did't find
a Possibility into herself, then She grew dark & began
to work under the Law her own rightiousness, but with
very poor Effect. Her two Brethren which both was touched in their
Heart by our Saviour, & was aquinted with the Brethren,
told her: that her own rightiousness & her own Piety never
would help to reconcile her poor Soul; & by means as
her Brother John ?? visited her, She became in reality
awakened & ardently Desireous for our
Saviour. She came 1750. to Herrnhaag but could get no
Leave to stay there. 1755. She ventured to come
hither without inquiring first for Leave to stay, but
after some weeks passed she got permission to continue here.
She was a heavy Temper & to this was annexed her deep
rooted Own Rightiousness & own Piety, This made her so
much Trouble & Confussion, that when our Saviour
showed to her the inward Corruption of her Heart, she
could not perceive how it was possible, that our Saviour
could ove such a wretch & connect with her.
However our true Friend of Siners came to her Assistance,
& bestowed Grace & Pardon on her, & ensured to her that she
was redeemed by his own & precious Blood & belonged to Him
